Toddlers seem to love quantity, so this set of
100 large, non-toxic, brightly coloured
wooden blocks should be a perfect fit. As
soon as your little one has reached the age
of not wanting to eat or chew the blocks, it’s
time to get these out of the toy cupboard.
Remember that children don’t have to build
a ‘house’ or a ‘car’; allow them to play freely,
and in this way they’ll learn all about
stacking, building, balance and knocking
down. Blocks may seem like a pretty simple
activity, but your child’s learning so much
through this play, including spatial skills,
social play (sharing’s tough for toddlers!) and
creative problem solving.
